The Microelectronics Department is one of three research groups at the LIRMM. It has a permanent staff of 29 researchers and teacher-researchers (CNRS and University) and about 35 PhD students. With its dynamic staff, the Microelectronics Department has been conducting cutting-edge research for many years in the fields of Design, Test and Dependability of Integrated Systems and Microsystems, with particular emphasis on modeling and methodology. The Microelectronics Department is very active at the national and international levels and occupies an important role in the research community. LIRMM has a strong experience in European contracts (COST TRUDEVICE, MASTER3D, EUREKA-CATRENE TOETS, ENIAC MODERN).
In CLERECO, CNRS will lead WP4 researching on methods to efficiently characterize software impact on system reliability. CNRS will also contribute to WP3 activities and will support the integration of WP4 results into WP5 activities.
